I know firsthand how difficult it is to see a loved one struggle with everyday tasks. To worry for their safety, yet unable to muster up the courage to tell them.
If this sounds familiar — you’re not alone.
Having worked in a variety of geriatric settings, I came to realize that clinics are important, but real life does not happen in clinics. Real life happens at home and out in the community, where seniors have to deal with dangerous daily tasks like taking out garbage, navigating sidewalks, and taking showers.
That’s what I set out to do and founded Homeway Therapy — a team of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists who come to your home to improve safety and independence.
We operate under Medicare Part B (not A, like most homecare companies), which allows us to see our clients for longer periods of time, typically about two months, leading to better results and fostering long-term relationships.
If you or your loved one is struggling with daily living, had recent surgery or hospitalization, or have fallen or slipped to the floor in the last year — give us a call, we can help.
